This is an exciting time for Humanities at the U: The College of Humanities is the second-largest college at Utah, with 30,000 alumni and nearly 5,000 students choosing a Humanities major each year. In the past few years, we've entered into international partnerships and launched an unprecedented number of new programs and opportunities for our students, inculding the creation of the Asia Center, the Confucius Institute, and the Center for Latin American Studies. It also includes the launch of new programs such as the Environmental Humanities and International Studies programs, and offering new Study Abroad opportunities the world over.
We achieved all of this because of the support of our generous alumni and friends. Your contributions provide scholarships for students, seed new program development, and fund innovative research that keeps the College on the cutting edge. Your support matters. Whether you choose to fund a named scholarship or support a department or program you care about, your support has a direct and tangible impact. We invite you to join us in the important work of the College.
