Debate Society Enjoys Continued Success at Gorlok Gala
The John R. Park Debate Society continued its Spring 2021 season with a small contingent of competitors at both the Gorlok Gala hosted by Webster University and the Vanderbilt Invitational hosted by Vanderbilt University. Over the weekend, members of the Debate Society competed against over more than 60 different colleges and universities from more than 25 states. For their efforts, competitors brought home two tournament championships and competed in elimination rounds in over a half dozen events. The Debate Society will continue their season on February 12-14 at the Talk Hawk Invitational hosted by Las Positas College.
