John R. Park Debate Wins Two Events in Ohio

The John R. Park Debate Society traveled to a pair of tournaments at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green Ohio on Nov. 16-19, 2018. In the first half of the competition, the Falcon Classic, three students placed in finals in 5 events and earned a 3rd place finish as a school in the small entry division. At the following event, the Birds of a Feather Invitational, the students representing the team again placed in finals in 5 events, wont two, and earned a 6th place ranking among the 33 universities and colleges attending the event, including Ohio University, the University of Kentucky, Wayne State University, and others. The team will complete its fall season at the Pacific Southwest Collegiate Forensics Association Fall Championships in Walnut, CA over the weekend of Dec. 1-3, 2018.
