Congratulations to Shoji Azuma
Congratulations to Professor Shoji Azuma for having been selected by the Hakuho Foundation
for its Japanese Language Research Fellowship. Only about five such awards are
offered worldwide every year. This is a great recognition for Shoji’s outstanding
scholarship in the field of Japanese linguistics and a great honor for the Department
of Languages and Literature at the University of Utah!
