Hollis Robbins - Dean, College of Humanities

Congratulations Class of 2023!

In my first year as dean, I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you and I’m continually impressed with your energy, work ethic, amazing achievements, and your ability to juggle both your personal and academic responsibilities. Humanities students work tirelessly and have high aspirations. Out of our 765 graduates, 30 are receiving doctorate degrees, 60 are receiving master’s degrees, 26 are graduating with honors, and three have received Fulbright Awards! Many of our students are double majors. We have a large population of first-generation graduates. Our students have presented research across the globe. We have published authors, award winners, and business starters. Between internships, research projects, endless hours of studying and writing, you have earned what is rightfully yours and I’m incredibly proud of each of you. I hope your time here was inspiring, educational and exceptional! I invite you to join me at convocation, so we can celebrate your accomplishments together.
