Skiing for Scholarships
Thank you to everyone who participated in our first annual Skiing for Scholarships event on March 1st at Brighton resort! The event was a huge success, and we appreciate all of the support we received. Thank you to our generous host, Brighton Resort, for the use of your resort and and for donating a ski pass to the recipient of the scholarship. Another big thank you to our sponsors, University of Utah Athletics, Millcreek Gardens, Stuff n’ Junk, Twin Peaks Wealth Management, Knead a Massage, and Goal Zero, who donated raffle prizes and made donations towards the scholarship fund. Another huge thank you to the University of Utah mascot Swoop, and members of the U Ski Team who came up to ski with our dean, Dianne Harris! Dean Harris and fellow Humanities faculty and alums came together to ski for a great cause. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and there was plenty of fresh powder for great skiing and boarding conditions.
