Undergraduate Research Publications

Student at poster sessionTwice per year, the Office for Undergraduate Research (OUR) at the University of Utah publishes a collection of undergraduate research from across campus. Humanities Students contribute their work and showcase the research happening across our college. Faculty mentors are crucial to the process, and students benefit from collaborating with them on cutting-edge research.

Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)

People at UROP sessionThe Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) is designed to support students in their pursuit of knowledge beyond the classroom. The recipients are selected based on research proposals and have the opportunity to work closely with faculty mentors throughout the Fall 2024 semester. This collaboration allows students to engage deeply with their chosen topics, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the ongoing scholarly work within their fields.

Fall 2024 Early Exploration Scholars in Humanities

Congratulations to the Humanities Students selected for the Office of Undergraduate Research’s Early Exploration Scholars. Students in this program learn more about research opportunities on campus and receive a $500 scholarship for participation.
